I'm trying hard to imagine a less worthy use of Congress's time and resources than a hearing into whether some baseball players took steroids. I'm having a hard time coming up with one.
Yeah, maybe it's not so cool that pro baseball players are doping up and maybe it sends a bad message to the kids. But congressional hearings? Really?
